Leedo

Over several years, we worked with social architecture film Paraa and Leedo, a charity for homeless and formerly homeless children in Dhaka, Bangladesh, to provide film making and storytelling workshops to the residents of Leedo’s children’s home.

Drawing on their own experiences and their stories of escaping life on the street, the children learned a range of film making techniques which they employed to create a beautiful series of short films. Following the release of the films, the group used these skills to conduct video-based field research leading to the design and construction of new homeless shelters in Dhaka.
